Education life is just like a ladder to me, you have to climb at the very 1st step before you can reach the top of it. Every step has it's procedures to develop our mind, 1st step is the Elementary life, 2nd is the High School life, we have a lot of experiences, a lot of problems that we've encountered that help us mold as a good student in this society.
This year 2011 I have finished my high school life as well as the beginning of my new chapter in life and step to the third part of the ladder "the college life". They say college life is a prison, a lot of rules to be followed no time for gaming, hang outs, and parties. According to them college will be the guide through our future in life.
Now that I'm a 1st year college student as what I have experience on my 1st semester I can say some of them are right but there is also wrong. Yes it's like a prison, a prison for good a lot of activities, a lot of work to do but as we go through we've made a lot of friends, we also meet a lot of teachers that we can call as our parents, our sister and as our brother. I also experience what other student experience too, misunderstanding w/ friends and also having an affair that never last forever, I also experience to have some crush, relationships, and also break-ups. But this is just part of our college life. These are just a test for us to strengthen our eagerness to go to school and learn something. They say college life is boring, for me as what i have experience on my 1st semester Its wrong its just depend on the student how to handle things and manage their time.
In my 1st semester a lot of things happen that is unforgettable one. Different time
management in going to school everyday. Activities like having a mass to thank god for giving us energy and strength to go to school. They also organize an activities that is very enjoyable like party for good that leads us to develop our mind and our social skills. I also experience changing of classroom every subject. The pressure, the excitement if there is a activity that organize a contest by department it was so full of fun that we cant forget. I also experience what others experience during exams , the nervous, the pressure and the fear if we have a proctor that is very stick.
All of these are just a test to us to help us mold our mind and gain something good to be a good student in our society. All of these are just part of our life as the time goes by. Now that i have finished my 1st semester we experience a lot of things that is unforgettable things. These experiences we've encountered are just like a "free taste", it means as the time goes on we will experience many many more happenings in our life. So keep dreaming, keep shinning, and keep smiling as we go farther, as we go through on our college life to reach our dreams in life. God bless us always. "Aim high Marians."
